Due to its rapid economic growth in recent years Vietnam has become a top emerging international education market. Vietnamese student enrollment continues to increase worldwide. Therefore, understanding Vietnamese educational system and its credentials has become essential for credential evaluators. This session provides an overview of the Vietnamese educational system including the new Vietnam National Qualifications Framework. Participants walk away with a toolkit for reading Vietnamese credentials with sample documents of various types of programs and formats from different time periods. We also discuss fraud and verification as well as international cooperation and investment in Vietnam.
