The TAICEP conference is not only a chance to network and learn from experts in the field. It is also an exciting opportunity to explore the conference's host city. Over the years TAICEP held conferences in iconic US cities of Philadelphia and Chicago. In 2017 we took you on a Roman Holiday in the Eternal City of Rome, Italy.
This year we continue this tradition by hosting our 5th Annual Conference in picturesque Vancouver, British Columbia on the west coast of Canada.
Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel, the venue of TAICEP 5th Annual Conference, is located at the heart of Vancouver in the Coal Harbour district and many of the attractions are within walkable distance:
- Stanley Park, a breathtaking 405-acre public park, is only a 15 minute walk from our conference hotel.

- Vancouver Aquarium, home to about 300 species of fish, 30,000 invertebrates, 56 species of amphibians and reptiles as well as 60 mammals and birds, is located inside Stanley Park.

- Canada Place landmark is a short 7 minute walk from the Marriott Pinnacle.

- Gastown, the original settlement that grew into the city of Vancouver, is home to some trendy bars and restaurants. You can reach it within about 15 minute walk from the hotel.

- If you like to exercise, Granville Island, a hotspot for entertainment in Vancouver with shopping, theaters and fine arts galleries, is 36 minute (and a ferry ride!) walk from our venue.

- For credential evaluation hockey fans, Rogers Arena, home to NHL's Vancouver Canucks, is about 25 minute walk from Marriott Pinnacle Downtown.
