Presentation Description (for publishing in the conference program)
Thailand is working on improving its education standards. This presentation showcases the biggest changes that have happened (and are happening) at the Thai secondary and post-secondary education levels. Topics covered include: changes to the basic education core curriculum, the adoption of a National Qualification Framework (NQF), and the creation of the Thai Qualifications Framework (TQF) for Higher Education. Additionally, a general overview of the Thai education system including the Thai calendar and school calendar, minimum credits required for post-secondary credentials, sample documents from a number of institutions, and the higher education institution database are also shared.
