Presentation Description (for publishing in the conference program)
You may be familiar with the 12-year secondary system used in the United States and elsewhere around the world, but what happens when you are faced with a 10-year system? Are those students sufficiently prepared for post-secondary studies? Or a 13-year system? Should students receive advanced standing in an undergraduate program? What if the end credential is different for non-citizens? Join us in an interactive session as we explore some non-standard systems and discuss how they could be treated. Regions include Lebanon, Philippines, Latin America, Francophone, and Central Asia.
