Cross Cultural Communication Skills for Credential Evaluators: Let's play!

This abstract has open access
Presentation Description (for publishing in the conference program)
Credential evaluation professionals engage with international students, job seekers, and university representatives who come from a wide range of cultural and communication backgrounds. Growing our intercultural communication soft skills can help us enhance our capacity to fulfill our roles more effectively and confidently with people from systems different from our own. Learn the various cultural general frameworks and then, using the ?Something?s Up? methodology, cultivate your skills in a playful way to move beyond simply noticing different communication styles and values to where you actually can engage with others who may be different than you.
