Review! Refresh! Revisit! - Updates and Best Practices on Detecting and Combating Fraud

This abstract has open access
Presentation Description (for publishing in the conference program)
In recent years technology has given individuals access to information faster, more efficiently and in greater detail, but it has also made our world more complicated. Between spoofed emails, fake mailers and old school forgery, it is becoming increasingly difficult to detect fraudulent credentials. Participants will gain insights into updated best practices and procedures to detect fraudulent credentials, discuss scenarios and sample cases that trainers have seen in their offices, identify useful online verification resources and learn what to do when you discover a fraudulent credential.
