There is a lot of going on in the world of recognition. We need to keep up-to-date with this world's most important tendencies! In this session we examine current trends in the recognition landscape at a global level. This includes an overview of developments in the Global Recognition Convention, the Council's of the European Union recommendations on automatic mutual recognition, the Asia-Pacific Regional Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education (The Tokyo Convention), and the work on recognition in the European Higher Education Area.
